American Power Washing & Sanitation, Inc. operates dedicated commercial utility trucks, dual-axle pressure trailers, closed-loop wastewater vacuum extractors, and front-loading refuse vehicles out of our Mountain View operations depot. Every rig is configured to satisfy California environmental runoff mandates.

High-Pressure Triplex Pumps & Diesel Water Heating Units
Grease, petroleum stains, and compacted tire residue on logistics pavement do not yield to cold tap water. Our custom-built utility skids pair ceramic-plunger triplex pumps with horizontal diesel heating coils that supply up to 3500 PSI at 8.0 gallons per minute, heated continuously to 200°F. The combination melts hydraulic deposits, emulsifies commercial cooking oil near refuse corrals, and scours concrete aggregate without surface etching.
Each washing unit includes calibrated unloader valves and thermal relief sensors to safeguard pavement integrity. Technicians dial pressure down to 1200 PSI for architectural brick or maintain 3000 to 3500 PSI for dense commercial concrete pads.

Reclamation System: Zero Storm Drain RunoffClean Water Act • Santa Clara County Mandate
Closed-Loop Vacuum Extraction & Holding Tanks
In California, allowing wash water containing suspended heavy metals, petroleum, or cleaning chemicals to reach municipal storm drains is a violation enforced by the Regional Water Quality Control Board. Our crews isolate low-lying catch basins with flexible weighted polyurethane berms before firing pressure lances.
Our 30-inch rotary surface cleaners connect directly to twin-vacuum suction hoses. The vacuum shroud recovers 95 percent of wash water right at the spray contact ring. Dirty wash slurry passes through 50-micron inline particulate filters into onboard 500-gallon holding reservoirs, preventing contaminated runoff from touching gutter grates.
Field Rig Deployment & Recovery Workflow
How carrier equipment is staged, operated, and demobilized on commercial customer sites across the Bay Area.
Rig Positioning and Perimeter Berm Placement
Minutes 0–20 • Site Isolation
The carrier driver parks the dual-axle rig adjacent to the target cleaning bay. Before pressure reels unroll, technicians inspect down-slope drainage channels, install magnetic grate covers, and seal polyurethane berms across curb inlets.
Vacuum Recovery Shroud Coupling & Hot Wash Run
Minutes 20–90 • Machine Extraction
Polyurethane containment barrier sealing a street drain throat while vacuum recovery hoses pull wastewater into onboard tanks.
The 30-inch flat surface cleaner operates in tandem with a 420-CFM high-lift vacuum extractor. Hot water at 200°F cuts through grease while suction pulls 95 percent of liquid volume back into the recovery manifold.
Holding Tank Transport and Off-Site Manifest Disposal
Minutes 90–120 • Compliant Demobilization
Pavement is inspected for zero standing water and zero detergent residue.
Perimeter containment berms and storm drain seals are checked and retrieved.
Wastewater holding tanks are transported under California carrier registration to certified treatment facilities.
Disposal manifests are logged for municipal compliance documentation.
